Sponsorship The Hybrid Solar Electric Vehicle (HSEV) is a joint initiative of the Schools of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and is comprised of 13 students from both disciplines. The aim this year is to design and build a commercially viable hybrid solar-electric vehicle in the months before November this year. The students will show that electric energy and solar energy can be used in tandem to produce a hybrid vehicle, superior to any other in the market place today. The project, however, requires sponsorship by people from outside the university this year. In 2006 the funding only allowed for the shell of the vehicle to be designed and built, with some electronics incorporated. This is where your company can aid us. A sponsorship deal with this team allows your company the opportunity to foster healthy community relations and reach a section of the community, which may have previously been overlooked. The University of Adelaide has already promised the equivalent of $20,000 worth of labour associated with the project. Below is a copy of the sponsorship proposal which you can download and read.
